Chaplin Farrant are please to announce the promotion of two of its architects to Associate positions. Keen to encourage all staff to progress and develop their respective roles, the company has promoted Wai Man Cheung and Jerene Irwin.
Wai Man joined Chaplin Farrant in 2005 and became a registered architect in 2008. Wai Man has predominatly worked on residential projects throughout East Anglia, most recently this has included the development of a 62 unit residential site in Costessey for Bennett Homes and the redevelopment of the Two Bears site in Great Yarmouth for Hughes Electrical.
Jerene joined Chaplin Farrant in 2007 and became a registered architect in 2011. At Chaplin Farrant her work has mainly been in the education sector and more recently includes the refurbishment of Lowestoft College and East Norfolk Sixth Form College, where she was previously a student.
In the last month, Chaplin Farrant have taken on five new members of staff to satify the expanding work load across all three disciplines - architecture, engineering and quantity surveying. "As a practice, we have been very busy over the last year and this rate of growth looks to continue as the construction industry recovers, resulting in us being able to invest in the long term," commented Mark Camidge, Director.
